PIC is seeking a Director or VP Sales to take up responsibility for the company’s day-to-day sales activities, including revenue and sales growth, monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management, and sales support. The Director or VP Sales serves as a leader of the organization, providing for all staff a strong day-to-day leadership presence. The Director or VP Sales works in close and complementary partnership with the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings, revenue, and gross margin goals.
- Directly manage major and critical developing customer accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
- Establish and manage the company’s sales infrastructure to enable outstanding execution of current and future programs and maintain the company’s leading competitive position.
- Establish performance goals that are aggressive, achievable, and tied to long-term goals, with clear objectives and delivery dates and identified and accountable owners.
- Establish and lead the sales performance management process that measures and evaluates performance and goal achievement, including monthly performance reviews of key metrics (including customer satisfaction metrics).
- Develop, document, establish, and direct execution of sales processes and policies to support overall company policies and objectives.
- Research and develop strategies and plans that identify market opportunities and new project developments, and lead to robust revenue growth.
- Direct short-term and long-term planning and budget development to support strategic business goals. Direct company sales operations to meet budget and other financial goals.
- Work closely with the VP Marketing on trade shows and marketing promotional activities.
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
- Take prompt and decisive corrective action when necessary to ensure achievement of financial, quality, and service goals and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Establish and ensure compliance with all appropriate standards of conduct.
Requirements
- At least eight years experience managing sales for mid-size companies with international operations, including growing organizations and infrastructure, leading teams, and developing performance cultures among groups of diverse, talented individuals.
- Track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation, together with the ability to balance the need for operational efficiency with nimbleness and innovation.
- Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
- Ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
- Hands-on, action-oriented, highly organized and directed leader, who enjoys working hard and looks for challenges.
- Ability to think strategically and anticipate future consequences and trends and incorporate them into the sales plan.
- Ability to attract, train, manage, and motivate a skilled team of managers and personnel in a culturally diverse setting.

Key Account Manager – USA

Pavilion Integration is seeking a Key Account Manager with a successful track record to manage and grow our relationships with existing Key Accounts in North America. In addition, the successful candidate will establish and manage our internal sales administration organization.
Position responsibilities include the following:
- Take responsibility for managing and growing existing biomedical OEM accounts in North America; meet or exceed design win and quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets
- Identify and qualify new design win opportunities at existing biomedical OEM customers, and develop and execute sales plans for penetrating these new opportunities
- Ability to work with multiple management levels in targeted OEMs to drive Pavilion Integration design wins
- Provide a high level of customer support including fast response to customer inquiries, communication of delivery dates and follow-up of support issues
- For managed accounts, provide a monthly forecast; competitive activity reports and lost order reports; update sales plan quarterly
- Establish and manage the monthly process for producing the monthly world-wide consolidated sales forecast
- Manage the internal sales order processing function
- Research, recommend, and implement a CRM system for world-wide implementation.
- Manage PIC attendance at trade shows in North America
- Travel as required to managed biomedical customers in North America as well as to trade shows and technical meetings

Director or VP R&D Engineering – USA
Job Description:
Pavilion Integration is seeking an R&D Engineering Director with a successful track record developing laser products for commercial and OEM markets, implementing and managing New Product Introduction processes, and managing prototype and pilot production operations till the completion of the customer qualification and the product release to market.
Position responsibilities include the following:
- Take responsibility for developing new CW laser modules based on our industry leading WhisperIT® technology.
- Meet or exceed quantitative project management goals for on-time development and deployment of new products meeting required specifications.
- Meet or exceed quantitative goals for quality, reliability, and on-time shipment of prototype and pilot products meeting customer requirements.
- Effectively manage the San Jose engineering team to maintain and grow the Pavilion culture of meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Establish a close and productive relationship with other Pavilion engineering and operations teams, particularly the Suzhou development and engineering organization.
- Work with senior management to meet Pavilion corporate goals.
- Provide a high level of customer support including fast response to customer inquiries, communication of delivery dates and follow-up of support issues.
- Develop and provide monthly project management and pilot operations status reports.
- Support the Pavilion Product Management team to execute the Product Management plan for the WhisperIT® product line, including developing the product roadmap, establishing and managing the NPI process, and the transfer of new products from the San Jose engineering team to the Suzhou manufacturing organization.
- Travel as required to biomedical customers in North America as well as to trade shows and technical meetings.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successful development of OEM laser products for biomedical applications.
- Minimum of 8 years engineering management experience.

Laser Technician – USA

The Advanced R&D group in San Jose has an opening for a R&D technician capable of aligning sophisticated lasers. We build single and multi-mode lasers for a variety of biomedical and scientific applications using PIC’s patented PICel® platform. PICel® is an extremely versatile technology capable of a broad range of laser wavelengths in a cost effective and compact package.
We are looking for an individual with several years of experience aligning lasers. This individual should be skilled in setting up laser parts from scratch and aligning the laser to lase. Laser harmonic generation experience is preferred. PIC hires highly talented people who are motivated to apply their skills to create innovative photonic solutions that transform healthcare and scientific discovery.
This candidate will perform functions associated with all laser assembly operations including working with engineers in setup and calibration tasks as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. They will use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment and will assist in developing methods or procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Education and Work Experience:
- Extensive experience with the alignment and assembly of lasers
- Experience aligning DPSS lasers preferred
- Comfortable with electronic and electro-optical test and measurement systems, such as oscilloscopes
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- AS degree, Technical degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- PC software skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, etc.

Job Description
- Communicates with Suzhou team on customer requirements in accurate and timely fashion
- Communicates with customer on sales order acknowledgements, delivery dates, RMA issuance, and shipping information
- Ensures all customer problems are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer
- Takes complex customer orders using order systems and provides accurate pricing information
